The MMI Summit is Money Management Institute's (MMI) premiere members-only leadership conference, welcoming top executives from the financial services advisory industry to network with their peers and enjoy forward-thinking thought leadership content.
With executives of firms like UBS, BNY Mellon, BlackRock, Charles Schwab, and more in attendance, the event caters to influential leaders who collectively manage trillions of dollars of wealth.
The Identity and Results
I created the original identity for the conference based around the feeling of a luxury beach resort. Using simple shapes and colors inspired by sails, sea glass, sand, water, and the sun, I developed a flexible visual system to tie together all of the brand's visual expressions. The friendly symbols, soft gradients, and wave-like motion convey MMI's reputation as a receptive, warm, and welcoming organization—the perfect place to kick back and relax while making decisions that change the world.
Similarly to how MMI connects industry leaders together with ease, the visual language exudes smooth, purposeful movement—relaxed yet impactful. It maintains visual harmony across digital environments, printed materials, and signage, seamlessly coexisting with MMI's existing digital platforms and the conference hotel.
Financially, the re-branded conference surpassed all expectations, significantly out-performing our revenue goals:
