Exhibited & Published Work

Addressing everything from the daily challenges of life, to the exploration of the self, to the existential threats we face as a species, I create personal, resonant graphic art that has found an audience in galleries and publications.

Studio Montclair Gallery: Text Exhibition, 2024

From May 24–June 28, 2024, I exhibited a screen-printed poster titled "Song of Myself, 4"—an interpretation of the Walt Whitman poem of the same name—in Studio Montclair's Text exhibition in Montclair, NJ.

I first encountered Whitman’s “Song of Myself” series while studying at The School of Practical Philosophy in NYC, NY and was deeply struck by its beauty and meaning. To represent the poem, I drew a blackletter textura style of calligraphy superimposed on a digitally manipulated image of the poet.

Studio Montclair Leach Gallery: State of the Art Exhibition, 2024

I exhibited the experimental poster Party at the Rubbish Heap in Studio Montclair's State of the Art group show in Montclair, NJ from July 12–August 16, 2024.

The poster ostensibly raises awareness of the global impact of human waste. But it expresses exasperation by deliberately destroying all legibility and meaning from the source text and images, leaving the viewer to ponder what, exactly, they're even looking at. Welcome to the party at the rubbish heap, and get comfortable—it'll last thousands of years. Well, unless we do something about it.

AIGA Maine 2023 Poster Show

In the summer of 2023, AIGA Maine released a call for entries for their 2023 Design for Good Poster Show. Per the organizers: "Our show features posters designed by creatives across various [media] that each represent their unique perspectives on this year’s theme, Design for Good. This theme was selected to promote and emphasize ways in which designers can impact social, political, economic, and environmental change."

My poster Come Visit the Ocean! humorously raises awareness of plastic pollution in the Pacific Ocean by imagining what a travel agency ad might look like to an anthropomorphized plastic bottle.
